Huntleys was founded in the 1870s as ‘Huntley & Son’ by Peter J Huntley and soon gained an enviable local reputation. As the business flourished, Peter also supported the local fire service for the Redditch community – with his family among the firemen and the horse-drawn fire engine kept in the stables behind the original premises.
The funeral business passed down the family to Neil Bough. In 2007, Neil sold Huntleys to Funeral Partners, but he keeps in touch with today’s team, as they continue to offer the highest standards of service to local families.
